Hey All 🙂 Today I am reviewing one of the scrubs which was mentioned in the Empties Post a few weeks back, the Forest Essentials Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub. Lets get into the detailed review of this luxurious scrub from FE 🙂
Product Description (from the Brand website):
An exfoliating scrub with finely milled Walnuts in a pure Aloe Vera and Vitamin A and E packed gel base.
This Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub has been formulated with a distinctive combination of high quality Kashmiri Walnuts with selected herbs like Agneemanth and Kachoor in a base of fresh Aloe Vera with Vitamin A and E.
While the Aloe Vera and Vitamins stimulate cell regeneration, the oil rich Walnut has a deep cleansing action, which brightens the complexion by gently removing dead cells and impurities.

Review of Forest Essentials Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub:
Packaging: Comes cased in a gorgeous and eye-catching packaging. The gold lid makes it look luxe and true to the brand’s tag line! A protective lid is also included in the tub in order to avoid any spillage. It is definitely not going to break while in your handbag but most definitely feels dainty to carry, so it can be transferred to a smaller bottle/sampler tubs 😛 for travels.
Efficacy: This is not a fine scrub which can be used every single day. The Forest Essentials Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub is a heavy-duty scrub which smells refreshing and can be used a maximum of two times per week. It definitely suits all skin types but the granules are quite gritty so I would recommend beauties with sensitive skin to stay away from it.
I have oily and sensitive skin so I use this only to scrub away the stubborn blackheads and whiteheads from my nose, forehead and chin, without touching the cheeks where I am super sensitive! Since it is a gel based scrub, it would be best suited for oily skin and the other variant which is the hand pounded organic fruit facial scrub is much more nourishing and thus best for dry skin.
This product is one of those which does what it claims to! It ACTUALLY removes stubborn blackheads and whiteheads and also impurities from the skin and makes it look more even and super soft to the touch! You need a very little amount for each use as it is packed with granules. I also mix this gel scrub with aloe vera gel for added moisturization and it works amazingly well! On my second tub right now but however I would not be repurchasing this as I am more into DIY scrubs these days 😛
Overall, The Forest Essentials Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub is a great scrub which does a fabulous job of scrubbing away all the impurities from the skin but the gritty particles makes it a little tough for the sensitive skin to handle. So make sure you try it at the store or get a sample before investing on the full size jar 🙂
