Hey all 🙂 For the longest time I used hair conditioners loaded with silicone, while some helped to detangle hair in the shower saving a few strands from shedding the others caused way too much build-up or coating on both scalp and hair. Just when I discovered the Bon Organics Aloe Vera Shampoo I also came across the Just Herbs Kumuda Indian White Waterlily Conditioner. I was skeptical about this since most of the natural ayurvedic silicone-free hair conditioners I tried in the past had done nothing to my hair. Lets see if this turned out to be any good! 🙂
Product Description (from the Brand website): Just Herbs’ gentle hair conditioner is free from silicones and it smoothens and nourishes dull and damaged hair without causing ‘build-up’ in your strands. While regular conditioners may provide an instant smoothening effect, they may also cause silicones (commonly used conditioning agents in mass market products) to get deposited in your hair making it greasy or heavy. Vibhitaka, Indian Gooseberry (Amla), Bhringraj and hibiscus are known in Ayurveda for promoting hair health and stimulating growth while Fenugreek (Methi) helps fight hair thinning and hairfall. The fragrant Kumuda or Indian white waterlily adds elasticity, volume and body to brittle hair.

Review of the Just Herbs Kumuda Indian White Waterlily Conditioner:
Just herbs has been one of my favourite skincare brands but never had tried any haircare from them and this hair conditioner took me by surprise!
Packaging: Comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a pump to dispense the product. Absolutely mess free and functional. As with all the Just Herbs products, the ingredients, shelf life and other information is printed on the bottle. Just Herbs thoroughly works on improving their packaging and this is just so convenient!
Texture and Efficacy: The Just Herbs Kumuda Indian White Waterlily Conditioner has a water based light cream consistency which is not too thick or dense as a usual silicone loaded conditioner. It has a very pleasant floral smell which disappears once washed off.
I take around 2 full pumps of this conditioner which is enough to cover shoulder length hair, working it in from the scalp, through the lengths till the tips of hair. Upon lightly massaging it between the palm, the texture gets even thinner and on hair it goes on smoothly and disappears without forming a coat or film on the surface. It almost feels like my hair drinks up this conditioner 😛
Even when it gets onto the scalp, does not cause any build up or oiliness rather it makes hair extremely light, smooth and fluffy from the roots to the tips. Right from the very first time I used it, fell in love with how light, nourished and slightly shiny it left my hair. It does detangle the hair to a large extent which was one of my primary concerns. Absolutely worth every penny!
Overall, the Just Herbs Kumuda Indian White Waterlily Conditioner is the best natural, ayurvedic and organic conditioner I have come across which actually works on strengthening, nourishing and smoothening dry and frizzy hair while balancing the scalp of any oiliness, all this without testing on animals. Thoroughly impressed!!
Rating: 5/5 (Love!)
